The code that just keeps comin
I've had a code 16 (Fuel Injector) for 4 days and I can't git rid of it. All injectors have the same 2 ohms of resistance, resistor tested ok, haven't found any breaks in wires...car idles fine and runs real strong. Took a peak under the carpet to tonight to see if the code was still there and it was, along with a code 7 (TPS). I've disconnected the battery a couple times and waited 15 minutes each time....still there.
The one thing that sticks out in my mind is when I went to set the timing last weekend. When I put the light on it I had to advance the dizzy as far as it would go just to get it to line up with the 18 degree mark. I assume I'm off a tooth or two on the timing belt by having to advance so much? Read somewhere a couple advanced degrees doesn't hurt...guess thats why it runs good. Any ideas? 1991 CRX HF b16a cai header 2 1/4" exhaust |

Main relay...I had the same problem, changed injectors and checked everything else related to code 16 and the MR was the only thing that cleared it up. Now if I could only find out what keeps draining my battery!!

Re: The code that just keeps comin
Forgot to mention...I replaced the main relay with new on Saturday.
Battery could be the alternator. |
