wtf is a net passport? Does anybody else have that damn thing poppin up every time you switch pages on this site?

No but i'm sure you can turn it off in preferences, and there's an tech section in OT.

Everyone is offering good suggestions as to alternative browsers, but no one is addressing the original problem. Why is .net passport popping up on AF pages, but not at any other forums?

It has something to do with the MSN Messenger icon that some people have in their profiles hence it only pops up in threads that these people have posted in. For example in this thread, originalmike has the icon under his username. Not sure how to fix it though.
