The REAL Simpsons House.
ever wondered what the Simpson's whacky yet familiar bi-level would look like in the flesh?

well, wonder no more.

i'm not sure of the origin of these pictures, but from what i've heard, there was some sort of contest for someone to actually win this: a real life replica of the Simpson's house.

if anyone has anymore info, please divulge!

the funny thing is, these are the same colors that appear in the show...yet in the show, they look normal.

I think it was in vegas somewhere, and it was a contest back in the 4th or 5th season or so....

IIRC, they mention it in the commentary somewhere on the 2nd season DVDs...

yea I remember seeing that, it was funny. I entered also, but I could have swore it was something different than buying a brisk ice tea or the other beverages for a game piece. The inside looks like a perfect real-life replica, although the outside doesn't look much like the simpson's house

keep in mind that the simpsons are yellow, have 4 fingers per hand, and have no distinguishing lines sperating their hair from their heads, other than Marge and characters other than the actual Simpsons, yet all of that seems normal when watching the show.
