I think you might considering that it is desinged for DOHC engines so I'm asuming that it should provide some more airfloe to your engine. But I may be wrong!

Re: Is there a difference between Si and ZC Intake Manifold?

Unless hes talking about the SOHC zc. Im not even sure if the DOHC will mount without some mods, i think the holes may be alittle off, but you can get it to work with if you widen them, I think. The sohc im not too sure. it will probably work. And if it does give a gain, it probably wont be much...

Well, I've got the SOHC ZC (D16A6) Engine in my car right now, I was just wondering if I put the DOHC Intake Manifold (if it will fit up to the D16A6) if I would get more horse, or if it'll be a waste. Has anybody even done this?

Well if you get it to fit, I think there will be in increase in power it may not be alot but I think there will be considering the desing in the manifold. The DOHC manifold will provide more airflow than a SOHC manifold will, I'm pretty sure the chamber size is defferent so you'll get more air, not to mention if you use a ZC or aftermaket throttle body weith it.

Re: Is there a difference between Si and ZC Intake Manifold?

only way to make it fit is to cut and weld on a sohc base plate. the zc base plate is wider and the bolt holes are aligned differently. the coolant passages on both mani's are slightly off from each other. some one had done this to an ls mani. dunno the actual results of this but it looked like crap.

I think your right - just I thought I had. I'm thinking instead of putting a 92-95 head on my engine and running a mini me, or just save up for the turbo. he he
