heater blower will not turn off ,key off

I believe the problem is the heater module, but can someone tell me where it is located, the part number,or anything else that may help me.

do not know what year,two location,one under hood behind max fuse box,the other under dash on right side

Thanks Micheal, but what I need to know is which one of the 5 modules on my 1997 le sabre is the correct one, would also appreciatr it if someone could tell me the number of it. J.R.

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have a 1993 Buick Lesabre limited with the same problem. I found some info from this forum but so far I have not been able to resolve this problem. There is a 30 AMP fuse (green) in the MAXI control center that I have pulled to at least stop the blower from running. I have been under the right side dash and behind the glove compartment and unplugged items one by one but still not able to find one item that will stop the blower. I have pulled all the relays in the maci center as well. I have heard some info about a blower motor resistor but not able to find it yet. Does anyone have an idea as to where to find this resistor?

Hello I have the same problem with my 93 Buick. I have pulled all relays and cannot get the blower to stop. Have you had any luck in finding the fault? I believe the blower motor has found a ground under the dash. Any help would be appreciated.

I have my problem with the blower motor on my 93 leSabre fixed. Thanks to this forum I found the location of the resistor pack in the blower housing under the relay panel on the firewall. I have an automatic climate control, which takes the 170-dollar resistor pack. I got lucky by talking with a fellow at a U pull a part salvage yard. He told me that the resistor packs for the automatic system equipped Buicks have already been picked out of his Junkers but a Cadillac unit of the same year or before would work. I found a Cadillac of the same year, 1993 and removed the blower motor resistor pack from it. the two plug ins were the same as my Buick. My old unit had a direct short across the two terminals, which let the blower run when the car was shut off. I plugged in the 10 dollar Cadillac unit and it works like champ. The Cadillac unit has a power transistor on the unit and the Buick is all black carbon, but the Cadillac worked fine! Thanks for all your help.
