Please help w/ air intake install!

Hi guys,

Recently bought the chrome air intake from RKsport and had it installed in my 2003 Cav by an experienced performance guy.

However, he is a Ford specialist and the instructions from RK were a little vague...

We still have one small tube from the old airbox with nowhere to "plug" it in. The new intake did not have any small hole for it. My mechanic said it may be a "fuel return hose?"

anyway, it comes from the area to the front of the block, is black, about 6 inches long and maybe 1/8 inch thick. It does not appear to be sucking in or blowing air and car runs fine. What should I do with it?

Thanks in advance,

Steve
