Hey everyone i know that there is about a million exhuast threads out on this forum but i couldn't find an answer for this one.
I wanna put on a dynomax High flow cat and 2 Dynomax Welded Ultraflow muffles with 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent piping and no resonator. Anyone know how this might sound on a 3.4 Engine? appreciate posative replys thanks |

Honestly, you can do that, but don't be suprised if you aren't satisfied with the sound.
No matter how hard you try, you can't give a V-6 a V-8 rumble. You CAN do it, but there's only one thing I think when I see an otherwise stock car with a 3.1 and a badass exhaust system. |

Re: Re: New exhaust
Flowmasters offer the deepest tone for V6 engines, but as said..it still won't sound like a V8.

Re: New exhaust
I think Hooker AeroChambers offer a pretty good deep tone.

Re: New exhaust
i have flowmaster 40's on now but they sound like shit and also my resonator and cat are messed up so i am just going to change everything at once.
What about if i just put the high flow cat on there and no mufflers cause i know that sounds good cause i did it with my sisters 3.1 and it sounded awsome but not enough back pressure |

Re: New exhaust
Well I will install my SLP headers tomorow, taking away the u-bend and all. Leaving the stock tip resonators. I will let you know how it comes out
