Red Brake light flashes on & off in my '01 lude. What do I do?
As I drive the light flashes on & off - or flickers I should say. Mainly when decreasing spead. Help please..

I had the same problem in my old 2000 Ford Contour(piece of crap!) especially after doing a lot of hard braking and sliding around corners with the E-brake.
your most likely just low on brake fluid. theres a little sensor in your brake fuid resovior and its probly flickering underbraing because all the fluid is sloshing around and making the sensor read low and full back and forth as the fluid moves. just try adding a little bit of brake fluid and see if that works. |
