RB25DET mods question
I was wondering what is the best way to take the RB25. you get lots of info on RB26 but not as much on the RB25. are the interior parts interchangable? Which companies are better for crankshafts/cams ect...

All The Rb Series Motors Are Similar.... If You Can Get You Hads On Gtr Crank/rod/piston Assembly They Basically Swap Right In With Some Machining And Balancing Required. The Rb26 Head Parts Swap Over To The Rb25det (hell The Whole Head Bolts On If You Want A Quick 30-40 Hp And Higher Revs). The Rb20 Accessories And Flywheel And Other Stuff Bolt On.
For The Highest Quality Aftermarket Products Go To Tomei Or Jun. |

Thanks for the help on that...helps out ALOT. Another Question for yea though. I've looked a few places and noticed their is an aftermarket block Called the N1 (racing team i suppose?)...i know its for the RB26 again wondering if it would be any diffrent between the RB25 block (besides the obvious cylinder size ect) reason why im asking i know that the RB series can hold alot of power but im just going on the safe side and looking for a beefer block, since im looking at putting aprox 400+ to the ground. thanks again

The N1 Race Block Is A Rb26dett Designed For Use In Race Cars Running On The Grueling Nuremburg(sp?) Ring In Germany. It Is No Different Internally Than A Stock Rb26 With The Exception Of A Few Things. These Things Are Higher Quality Pistons, High Volume Water And Oil Pumps And Stiffer Valve Springs. They Also Come With Upgraded Turbos. N1 Was An Inhouse Racing Package.
Yes, Everything From This Engine Will Move Over To The Rb25 If You Can Get Your Hands On This Stuff. |
