interior color ?

did 89 mustangs (gt or lx) come with black interiors? mainly im looking to find a door panel (black), other than junkyards and ebay, where can I get one? I tried 50resto.com, but they didnt have any. Or would any other year of door panels work? thx for any help!

Any years will work, 87-93. Just have to make sure you get the appropriate one for either manual or power window.

not just power windows, but also locks and mirrors. also, some door panels had slightly different styling from year to year. personally, i'm using panels from my parts car (power everything) and having it all dyed. i'm just fearing getting a wiring harness that'll work with this combination! it's gotta work with a post-86 dash, 86 lights, '90 doors, v-8 manual. i'll probably yank the harness from my parts car, rip out the engine wiring, and adapt it to the application. fun fun =D

black door panels can be had at www.stangparts.com, as memory serves.

Actually the power mirror button is located on the center console. But I actually used manual window door panels and custom fit them for my car with power windows, so I can be done. I put tweeters in the holes for the window handle, dyed the armrests, and custom covered the tweed liner with new materiel. Actually came out very nice.

You can paint them yourself and make it look factory. I did it with my T-bird.
