If u need any help on taking the stereo out of your s10 i got a 96 and have done that job more times than I can count. Just post back if you want to know how to do it.

The trim that goes around the radio, Heater controls, Insturment panel has to come off. Pull Gently and it will, you probably have to put the shift lever in Low to clear it. Once the trim bezel is removed you can remove the bolts that hold the radio in. If I remember right you have to take the mounting bolts out of the heater controls because they are mounted together. Pull radio out and unplug.
