my Transmission housing has a small crack in it and is leaking tranny fluid, I'm gonna patch it for now but plan on replacing it.
anyone know if the A1, YS1, Y1 housing is the same as the S1 ? Kun

Re: S1 Transmission casing
i know for certain that the USDM YS1 from the 92-93 integra isnt the same. i tore apart a YS1 cause it had a bad differential, and i had an S1 with a cracked case, and stuff doesnt interchange. the differential did, but nearly everything else didnt. theres 3 shift forks in one, and only 2 in the other. the input shafts are also two different sizes.
as far as 90-91 trannys go, im not sure. id imagine they are the same, since honda beefed up the trannys in 92
