My 90 Accord has this NEW prob. Wow. At idle, like at a stoplight, a burning smell wafts into the interior, like burning rubber or oil. Kinda weird. I steam cleaned the engine, thinking maybe it was some crap in the motor, but nothin! Any thoughts? Is my baby dying??????

You cleaned once, have you checked to see if anything is in there now, like oil or radiator fluid? How about the exhaust? Drive it around, then park it and get out and see if there is any discoloration to it. When you park it, does it drip any fluid?

Re: Smelly at Idle?!?!?!?!
Well, nothing is leaking visibly, although the rear main seal is kinda drippy. Like not visibly drippy but there IS leakage, you know what I mean? Besides that, everything else is A-OK.
