I think, from memory, that 13secondcivic made 13 seconds with a 1.5L SOHC non-VTEC engine. Or was it a 1.6? Completely rebuilt. Am I right? Memory is a bit fuzzy.

You don't need axles if your using your stock tranny.IF your getting the whole zc swap then you'll need 90-93 integra axles. Other than its a str8 bolt on

You only need the teg intermidate shafts if you are going to use the zc transmission.

91b16sedan is my brother and yes the zc blew up on us. If you want to use the zc trans you will need to use the 90-93 integra intermediate shaft and axles. There is a way to make your own axles but I can't remember a page to explain it. I believe it is somewhere on the www.hybrid.honda-perf.org page.

I do not think the ZC will pass CA emissions/smog or whatever with a Teg ECU. I have heaed of some peeps passing with an Si ECU, which means the motor runs like crap, but it only has to do that for the test. I would not run the Teg ECu if you are over there dude..I would try to find a ZC ECU pay someone to rechipp you an aftermarket one, like ZDyne.

And I also don't think you will like the ZC tranny, too many other things to do..intermediate shaft mumbo jumbo, etcetc...you might as well go b16..by the time you get a ZC with a ZC tranny you have spent almost as much $$ as you would on a b16, minus the mounts. The beauty of a ZC motor is that you can bolt it to your car directly AND the existing tranny, HF/DX/Si, even STD (except if i was going thru the trouble to swap a ZC in a STD hatch, I would put a different tranny in there) - The Si tranny has the tighest gearing, but I also hear a lot of peeps are happy with the DX tranny with a ZC.. I think the ratios are the same but the Si has a different final drive kicking everything up a notch on the ol' RMP meter .....and NO you can't have any of 91zc's parts - I am buying them
HTH - and if I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me

DOHC ZC, I,H,E, urethane bushings and mount inserts, rock chipped hood, some rust, stock steelies, nice comfy Integra seats, and the A/C works! What else could you want from an 18 year old car with 241,000 miles? Working on getting the Si tranny in now
