Question Troubles

I have a 1993 thunderbird 5.0 that, when ignition is turned it cranks but doesnt catch....it did catch once...i revved up to 3k rpms and then it slowly died.....does anyone know what could be wrong? and possibly the solutiion?

Its either a bad starter or worn drive plate(wheel), i would suggest changing the starter.

If it cranks and doesn't start, it's not the starter. If the starter was bad, it wouldn't crank. Check your IAC.
