Banks.

WTF is it with fucking useless people, mainyl women, in banks!! How fucking hard is it all for them??? I recently attempted, for the 3RD TIME to put money into my account from which my loan is drawn out of, and that money was to both pay my account and to also fund my holiday, but NO, they cant get it right, if my money has not gone to my other account I'm going to be VERY pissed off.

Re: Banks.

Aussie be flipping! yea i'd hate to have that happen I refuse to go to a chain bank *wacovia citazents etc* they all treat you like this. My advice would be find a lil local bank normally better rates too.

Banks are great! I just opened an account with Citibank for a mere 1500 and they gave me 150 for doing it. I have to leave the money there for three months (piss poor intrest), then I'm taking it out and finding another bank that does the same.

They are all competing for your money. Pay attention to whats out there and you can make a couple bucks here and there just by opening an account.

If you are living paycheck to paycheck and are that close to carrying a zero balance, I suggest you reassess how you do your finances.

USBank is REALLY bad at this. You can bring in a check that's drawn on THEIR BANK and deposit it into your account...and the money won't be there for up to 10 days.

So here's what you have to do:
Drive to USBank w/ USBank drawn check.
Cash it. If they ask if you have an acct with them, say "no".
Drive around through the drive through again and tell them you want to make a deposit.
Deposit the cash.
Voila! Money is there the next day!

Re: Banks.

Oh and I have to add....bank screwups can be good sometimes.
My dad owns his own business and was making a weekly $3k and change deposit...say $3,237.85.
The bank lady, when typing in the deposit, hit "3" instead of ".".
My dad got home with an deposit ticket saying "$3,237,385.00" and a balance of more.
Unfortunately he didn't get to keep it.
And he threw out the dep. ticket which he SHOULD have framed.
