Powerslot brake rotors??

I'm considering putting power slot rotors on my Silverado (2001 ext. 4wd) and using the Hawk brake pads (HPS series) that they recommend with the rotors.

Anyone have any experience with this set -up?? Maybe same rotors but different brake pads??
