Angry How Much Is This Going To Cost?!?!

Well, I have a bit of a problem...actually a lot of a problem. Tonight I was pulling into a convience store and I cut it too sharp while parking my legend and I hit a suburban. It had one of those steel metal bumper gaurds on the rear and it really f-ked up my rear pasanger door and made a DEEP(like 2") dent in the rear quarter panel. I need a new door for sure and I think that a body shop can work out the deep dent cause its fairly small and deep. I was just wondering how much a new door panel repainted to origanal color would cost? I dont know if any of you have ever had to replace these, but im aware that many of you have years of experiance with these cars and might be able to give me a good estimate, thanks a lot.

Peace

What color, year, 2 door or 4? I would just check local salvage yards for doors. the legnds at the salvage yards around here are in excellent shape. Let me know and I will keep an eye out for what you need. If you could post pics it might help us estimate.

The car was my parents car that they were letting me drive till I got the cash to buy my own car...they have now decided that I can't drive the Legend anymore! :finger: That really pisses me off...My step-dad is gonna buy brand-new parts and have everything fixed by a body shop cause hes a perfectionist, thanks for the offer...mabye when I buy a car I'll buy an older legend cause I grew really attached to the 94 I was driving!

Sorry to hear that you lost your legend privledge man, Legends are great cars. My 90 has 159000 miles and still has lots of speed off the line and great passing speed on the free way. i have had it for about 8 months and not one problem yet. And the way I drive, there should have been problems by now What do you think you will buy for yourself?

Well, there are so many cars that I like..some of the ones I'm looking at are old chevy muscle cars, 90 300zx's,94-97 chevy s10's(make fast and low), older toyota supra turbos, and now I'm gonna look at some older legends, any other suggestions? anything that I could pick up for 6 G's or less...

I would check out 90-93 accord V6s, i always liked those. I would stay clear of 300zxs, my friend has a 91, nothing but trouble for him. i would really check out 2nd gen legends, you could get a great 91-93 for around 5 grand. That 3.2 liter sure is fun to drive, even in an automatic. Those are just me though Good luck in car hunting, keep me updated. Oh, and what year was the legend you were driving?
