Drain Plug

I Just Changed My Coolant And Thought I Had The Same Problem. I Think You Didn't Open The Drain All The Way. It Doesn't Only Turn 90 Degrees. You Have To Keep Unscrewing The Plug Counter Clockwise. You Will Probably Need A Pliers. I Know It Seems As Though It Is Going To Break At First But That Is Normal. Hope This Helps.

Re: ram 1500 drain plug ??

Should've drained the rad through the lower rad hose while you had it off of the waterpump.
The draincocks are bad for tearing the o-ring while loosening it. If it leaks afterwards you'll need to replace the o-ring or the whole draincock. Just be careful you don't ruin the rad in the process.
