Drain Plug
I Just Changed My Coolant And Thought I Had The Same Problem. I Think You Didn't Open The Drain All The Way. It Doesn't Only Turn 90 Degrees. You Have To Keep Unscrewing The Plug Counter Clockwise. You Will Probably Need A Pliers. I Know It Seems As Though It Is Going To Break At First But That Is Normal. Hope This Helps.

You got to take it all the way out and make sure your raditor cap is off also

Re: ram 1500 drain plug ??
Should've drained the rad through the lower rad hose while you had it off of the waterpump.
The draincocks are bad for tearing the o-ring while loosening it. If it leaks afterwards you'll need to replace the o-ring or the whole draincock. Just be careful you don't ruin the rad in the process. |
