bumper swap
I was wondering if it was possible to swap a front bumper off a crx and put in on a civic of the same year (90-91)? I find the fake air dams so fu$%ing cool.

this has been discussed before. you can do it, but you will have to use the CRX bumper support, the CRX fenders, and the CRX corner lights. i have it on my hatch. do a search next time, and im certain you will find your answer

I see. Well, since they will fit, I was also wondering if a front spoiler off a crx bumper will mount up onto a civic hatch bumper? There are plenty of crx's around where I live in junk yards, but not enough civics. And if so, is there any noticable difference between a crx front spoiler and the hatch si front spoiler?
And yes, I did look this up on search!

not sure on if a front lip would bolt on from the CRX, but i know people have hooked up older prelude lips, and older integra lips on their hatches. so i would imagine it will work

i'm in the process of sticking a CRX Si front bumper & fenders onto my civic right now. Listen to incucivic he was the one that told me the lego bits I needed to pick up to make it work. My friend just bought a junk CRX so we are gonna have a field day with it soon hehe.
On a side note i'm currently sitting on a stock CRX Si spoiler, it lines up with my bumper for the most part except for the edges were it seems to be longer. But yea like incucivic said, i've seen all kinda of honda lips grafted onto 4th gen bumpers in one way or another.

Ive even seen something crazy like a rear teg bumper used for a hatch front bumper, wish i had the pic, it was great...lol, didnt look all that much like ass either

Well, even if the crx bumper lip is just a little longer on the sides, there is always scissors. I really like the way the si lips looks like. I've seen the integ lip but it just doesn't look right to me. Thanks for the info
