I can think of tons of uses for zipties. I once held a battery in place with them. Do you guys think zipties are ghetto? They sure as F^%K look better than duct tape. Especialy when u have the right color! Zipties Rock!

Re: If it werent for zipties...

Zipties are great for organising the cables inside a computer.

I want to try strap someone to wall or fence with zipties...

Re: If it werent for zipties...

At my old work I got bored and made roughly 50 sets of homemade flexicuffs with them.

Same thing as cable ties, right?

Re: If it werent for zipties...

My dad's car bumper broke when he hit a snowbank, we zip-tied the frender back to the frame, it was easily done and is still holding a year later.

Re: If it werent for zipties...

Yeah, my friend's Storm has zipties on the front bumper. It's what's used in Rally races for quick fixes.

Saw an engine last night with zipties holding some parts on. Not sure what, guy just said, "Don't mind the zipties" lol

Re: If it werent for zipties...

Zip ties are cool. Saved me when my oxygen sensor was trailing along the motorway in my old R33. Also very useful when tying the tomato plant to the trellis.

I use them to organize computer cables, and tv cables. I used them when I had no lock for my bike. I had to waste one ziptie a day.
