What kind of exhaust will sound good on an 89 4X4 with a 2.8 and no convertors.

flows always sound good, but cost lots
if you can, a straight pipe sounds sweet, but if you want a muffler, go for a glass pack...it'll sound pretty good check out http://exhaustsoundclips.com/ford.html - the 2.8 will sound essentially the same as the 2.9

I have a duel outlet glass pack with the big tips on my 91 3.0...Sounds great....Cost me $250..And its the 3rd system I've had on it since 1991 when I bought the truck new......
