Question Raspy Engine!!!

Hi, I just got a 2000 328i. Its a great car and all, but when you accelerate hard, or downshift, or even rev the motor, it sounds raspy, like sorta like an 18 wheeler. It doesnt sound all sporty, or deep throated. Can u fix this problem?? any suggestions appreciated. I will only have this car for about 6 more months though. I will be getting a new 330i PP for my 19th bday. suggestions please on the engine acousitcs.

Hmm,

I would suggest giving it back to your father and buying a Honda.

You do not have to drive this noisy car.

Later,

no thank you

UM no, i think ill pass, i didnt ask for that, i asked for a solution to the problem. I was wondering if the dinan exaust would help maybe. I hate japanese cars, and i would not be caught dead even riding in one, much less being disgraced by owning one. I love BMWs, my first car was a 1996 325i, and i loved it. Any help appreciated thank you guys!!
