Idiot Light Help...

Hey guy,

I have a Lancer ES and a funny thing happened on the way to a basketball game tonight. Two idiot lights came on at the same time. One is the Battery/Electrical light, the other the E-brake light. The odd thing is though, they would flicker when the RPMS's were under 2500, and above 2500, they would be bright. I haven't looked into what it could be, nor do I have a clue??? I was thinking it might be the alternator, but them I was thinking why would the e-brake light come on also. And yes, I am sure the e-brake was not engaged.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
