Re: what level turbo

i think he means like stages i.e. the stages on the rev hard kits.. either that or he's been playing too much need for speed underground

I'm looking into a t3/t4 hybrid turbo for my integra. Buy a smaller turbo if you want a quick spool up time, or buy a bigger turbo if you want maximum hp. Larger turbos will have more turbo lag.

not necissarily.... in theory a larger turbo has more lag time because they take more exhaust force to get spinning up to speed, and unless you're in some sort of race situation, this generally can't be done by the good ol'e 4 bangers in our integra's. however... lag can be greatly reduced by using different methods of construction on the turbo... eg/ ceramic blades(generally very expensive) or ball bearings instead of floating liquid bearings. ball bearing is definitely the way to go if you have the money, because they can be quite a bit more expensive than the normal turbo's... hope i've helped ya a bit

i hope you got a fair chunk o change to spend on this.. cause engine swaps are nothing cheap..
are you looking for race or street? cause 300 whp is about a good max for an integra for street.. anything over that is just overkill

Re: what level turbo

get a turbo with about a .63a/r that will be good enuff of a motor with 1.6-1.8l and should flow aobut 300lb/min thats good for 300hp which you wont see on a stock botom end tegra.. and you will get fast spool up.. dont boost over 10psi and make sure you do your fuel managment..
