throttle body spacer

is a throttle body spacer worth getting/does it produce any hp. i can pick one up for 20 dollars but i dont know anyone that has one, and dont really know if they work. i know how it claims to work but does it really gain anything.

I have zero experience with these but I would assume that if there were any gains they would be very minimal.
