expedition kill

heh i know its a big ass suv but its my first true kill.

i pulled up next to him and the road was going from 2 lanes down to 1 and i was in the lane that ended. he starts edging up so i get ready. the light turns green and i take off and so does he. i ran 1st just barely too long chirped em into 2nd. and i had him by almost a car length. thats when i realized i was sorta screwed cuz i didnt have him al the way and my lane was ending, so unfortunatly after beating him i had to relinquish my spot to him.

Re: expedition kill

yeah you don't want to mess with a 6000 lb vehicle (thats a guesstimate), they are slow as hell though.
you might want to change your sig before all these honda guys rip you for your "vtech" engine.
put your flame jacket on.

Re: expedition kill

Do you have an automatic or manual? What year expedition? I wouldn't really call it a kill, more like a draw. You should really beat an expedition by more than one car length, even with a stock civic! Maybe your pioneer amp and "head unit" made the car heavier or something.

it was a newer expedition. and obviously i have a manual. to that last comment yes it is because i have a shitty as homemade box my friend made thats riduculously huge. it takes up almost all of my trunk so that with missing the first shift is why i couldnt pull a full length on him

He did the smart thing. Besides, he had already proven that he was faster so he can let the loser go by.

There is no reason to feel bad because those things can be fast bastards.
at the shop where i get my work done there is a expodition with a procharger S/C, intrecooler, and a nitrous express single nozzle. THat big bitch is f#$kin fast
and any way if you have 55k to spend on a car immagine what you could spend on hop-ups
