Is this a Fiero?

This guy is claiming his car is a "Ferrari with 1989 McLaren-Ferrari wheels". I say it is a Fiero.

Reasons I think it is a bodykit:
- Side markers are wrong shape, place, and color
- Keyhole is in the wrong spot
- Door lines match up with a Fiero, and not a Ferrari
- Louvres are all wrong for a Ferrari, and do not line up as actual Ferrari louvres do
- Lack of badging
- Wheels look like hubcaps. (Ferrari never covered the lugnuts except for a chrome cover on Testarossa wheels)
- Gas cap location is a bit off.

To me, it looks like a Mera knockoff kit.

Opinions?

I'd have to agree, the door glass, windshield and roof line look like classic fiero.

After looking at real 308 pic that is Definitely not one.
Here is why...
1. The windsheild on 308s is heavily curved
2. All of the 308s I looked at had vent windows
3. Gas cap is in different location
4.Front side marker lamp is different/smaller
5.If you look close you'll see that the hood lines a very different (meaning that if you were to lift the hood it would be too large and not the right shape.

For real 308 pics to compair with try http://www.dennigcars.org/ferrari/ferrari_goto_us.htm

Yep, its a Fiero based kit, the roof line is all wrong and the gas door is in the wrong location. Why?

Re: Is this a Fiero?

I think I'd go with a differet kit if I was gona go to all that work. Overall I just don't think his kit (Yes without some paperwork I'd say kit) would make me turn around if I passed it goin down the road.

It looks nice but it certainly looks like a Fiero to me.
The sad thing is is that most people don't even know what a Fiero is say anything about an exotic like a Ferrari, so he is probably able to fool most people on any given day as they just honestly wouldn't know any better.
