Heaven and hell are commonly used words by atheists same with Chirsts name and yelling God so i must dismiss this. I have seen a priest die in a auto wreck he never said anything about god heaven or hell etc go figure lol.

RESPONSE: Sure they use God, Heaven, and Hell in their common daily talk...but all of these most faithful 'Atheists' were on their deathbeds pleading and crying out in desperation to God. Not just one at in state of dementia , but ALL 8 of them, as witnessed by others. Theres only one reason to keep denying ones Creator, and thats to go on living as that person desires which always involves some degree of immorality.

Heaven and hell can be used methaphorically, and I think they were in some of the cases you mentioned. And i agree wit eversio, its only eight people who's words I believe were taken slightly taken out of context.

Dave, if all you are doing is trying to convert atheists or make them feel their life is wrong, then please stop now and do not engage in that. I am a Christian, I am attending a Nazarene University next fall for college, and I know that I do not talk to others about God unless they wish to be talked with about it. Granted I do not believe that being an Atheist is the right thing, but that's me; even though I don't favor their religious view, I'm not the one who is supposed to go running up to them saying "You need to know God or you'll burn in hell." If someone came up to you and said that(keep in mind if you were an atheist) would you want to listen to what they have to say? No. A person has to want to find God on their own first, then you can start helping them with it. You cannot force someone to see something that they do not wish to see, they must see it on their own.

Now, I understand you probably have the best of intentions, but with such a vast difference in religious belief on this forum, coming here and saying such a thing is a bit out of line.

Dave, we admire your commitment to God. Several of us here including myself are Christians, but AF is not the place for religion. As you can see it only results in a shitfight. As a Christian I feel I should be tolerant of others, and so I am, which is why we are not too impressed with the blatant bigotry displayed by you, and you only end up giving the rest of us a bad name and getting people on our case.
