Hard to start

I cant get my truck (93 Votec CPI VIN W) to start unless I take a little bit of gas and dump it down the throttle body, then she immediately starts in an instant. Once started it runs very smooth with out a problem. I 've replaced plugs, plug wires, coil, cap, ignition module and rotor. Ive replaced the CPI spider. Still no change. The Fuel pressure with ignition on and engine off is 60psi. With engine started fuel pressure is 52psi. The fuel pump is about 6 months old. Everytime I turn the vehicle off I must give her a small sip of gas in order to start her.

Can someone out there suggest anything.

Thanks

is your SES light on? if not, does it work?

the computer monitors the coolant temp sensor (CTS), intake air temp sensor (IAT), throttle position sensor (TPS), and manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP) in order to determine the proper air/fuel ratio for starting.

it sounds as though maybe one or a combination of these may be out of range enough that the truck is trying to start too lean.

using a repair manual and an ohm meter you can check most, if not all of those sensors.

i'd lean more towards the IAT, MAP, and the CTS.
