Angry Grinding!!!!!

AHHHH... my 3rd and some times my 2nd gear grind with a brand new performance clutch. does this mean its time to throw in the towel.

I go all the way down on the clutch and i shouldnt have too. its a brand new clutsh and i have to fight to get it into 3rd every time.

Please i need some advise

It's a tranny problem... The trannies on these cars start to go and it starts with third. Mine grinds sometimes too...

synchros might be going bad, they tend to go bad in these trannies

Yeah - sadly that is the case. If you have the technical skill or know someone who does, you can rebuild the transmission yourself or you're going to spend 3-5k (depending on where you get your next transmission) to have it done.

Of all the things that are cars are known for, this seems to be the most frequent major issue.

My dad rebuilt the tranny on the 91 VR4 that he had.... His problem was that he couldn't shift it into third gear at all.... I'll have to ask him what he did to it...
