I'm having problems removing the ignition switch on my chev pickup. In the instructions with the new switch it says you need to depress a release in an access hole under the turn signal cam. We've gotten to this point and can't seem to find the release. The switch was damaged when we bought the truck and you could start it with a screw driver. Don't know if that could have damaged the release. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well I got it out. I drilled it out and used a slide hammer to pop it out. It worked pretty slick since the old one was broken and unusable any way. I still didn't find the release button though
