build my car?

I would like to build a model of my car.

I have the Hasegawa Galant VR4 model to do it with. I also have some OZ 15 spoke rally wheels to go on it, but as you can see, I have different wheels now. Have you guys seen any wheels that would resemble mine fairly closely. I thought about the R34 GTR wheels, but they are too wide. The OZ wheels will be a pain to fit as it is and they are a little narrower. This is the only thing that keeps me from beginning this kit. :help:

No, R34 GTR wheels are the way to go!
There just being too wide isn't reason not to go with them! THis isn't the real car world here now will you will find bits that fi perfectly! Some machining is involved.
You will need to fit the wheels deep into a drill chuck and then slowly cut in with a scalpel or knife until you have reamed some width away.

The Hasegawa Galant is the only one I have seen! Get it quick whilst it is in stock!

What about the tires that go with those wheels. Do I narrow them down too?

I got the kit a year ago, before I knew about HLJ. It took me a month to track one down. Now I see that HLJ has them. Since then I have gotten the three VR4 rally kits off of Ebay. I had to outbid a guy up to $55 dollars to get one of them, but it was worth it as I am a Galant VR4 enthusiast. I don't think there's any other way to get those kits anymore.

The coolest part of this board was learning about HLJ. Now I can get one of those Fujimi 1//12 scale Skylines I've been trying to track down. They have two of the kits in stock.

Suspension, intake, 2.5" exhaust, ported mitsu 16G turbo with custom 34 mm wastegate opening (same one that comes stock on Lancer Evo III's), ported exhaust manifold, momo steering wheel, stereo system.

It's my BIG hobby.

No, I think you will need to source them from another kit!
The rally cars are good to get low profile tyres off! I find 18" wheels look too big with model road car tyres! I had to use rally cut slicks on my Celica!
