Unhappy HELP!!!!!!! Need Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor and Throttle Sensor

Hi there,

I'm based in England and an trying to find parts for me Honda Prelude 4th Gen Vtech 2.2 4WS AUTO. I need a Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor and Throttle Sensor! None of which I can find please help if any one knows where I can get thee from that would be great.

Honda have told me that they are unlisted and altogether will cost around £500!!!!!!!! Please help.

Who told you that those sensors were needed, or did the ECU throw the codes...?

There is way to re-place the TPS, by cutting groves into the bolts that hold it on. However you will have to have a voltmeter to re-set tho. Most peeps will just find a used throttle body instead from a bone yard. As far as the ECT sensor goes, you just may have to pay the price. Unless you can find a used one at the junky too.

It sounds like they are trying to sell a new tb, because the TPS comes in that as a unit, rather then being re-placeable by itself. Thats probaly why there is no listing for it...

Thanks 88 SC CRX Si, I was really surprised but i did find both parts in the Junk year scar year whatever you call it car graveyard. I got both and a full lovely body kit for £150. Wicked hey! Thanks for the help!
