finding knob for radio
Just wondering if anyone could help me out in finding a knob for my 1995 Olds Aurora. I thought it would be a simple task but the olds dealer in town wants $25 for it and no salvge yard in town carry one so I would appreciate any suggestions on where I could look.

Re: finding knob for radio
Hello, this guy on e-bay must have an Aurora he is taking apart because he has plenty of parts from a 1995 Aurora. He even says e-mail him with a part you need and he will see if he has it. Here is the link, good luck.

I've seen lots of salvage yards that have an online list and parts info/request form. Granted I was looking for my 81 Kawasaki motorcycle, but many of those yards were cars too...
Just out of curiousity how is it that you need a radio knob? Since they mostly have push as well as turn functions I would think they wouldn't be too prone to falling out or anything... |

Re: finding knob for radio
Broken mine the same day I saw your thread//faint..
Good news is I glued the small breakage back onto the knob. Then put the knob back. Great job. Only went to 99c store for some fastdry glue. With that, I also repair some other broken parts on my 95' Aurora. |
