b16a swap question

I recently got a 97 civic ex, i'm thinkin about swappin the engine to the b16a, but i dont really know much about motor swappin and stuff, well my question is will the b16a engine from jdm sir 89-91 fit my car, and what things do i need to buy in order to swap it, and another question is, what is the difference between cable transmission and hydralic transmission.

wrong forum, for starters... del Sol is compatible with 92-95 civics. And if you're going to ask that, SEARCH... I mean seriously.. there's another thread about a B engine TWO THREADS ABOVE THIS... look around, then ask if you don't find.

For some reason I feel like being nice, and I'll answer your questions..

the b16 is the same engine in the civic Si. Find a 97 Civic Si and swap it in. If your car's autotragic, you're gonna have a hard time mounting the tranny due to different mount points for auto/manual. Save your money and just get a USDM engine. Everyone thinks JDM engines are hot because they get more horsepower or whatever... well yeah. If you put the 100+ octane gas that Japan has in a USDM engine, it would get higher hp, too. Cable tranny uses physical cables to change gears in the tranny and is a nightmare to fix if you ever need to. Hydro uses gear series and a hydraulic shifter which relies on those gears to change the transmission gears... something like that... it's 3am and too damn early, but I can still find my close button
