well the si would look better and have better guage cluster and suspension, brakes. but the b18'd one would be a little faster. depending on how much the price difference would be I would most likely go with the si cuz it's more of a complete package to me.

Good question, i personally would take the si; the b16 although less displacement, is an overall better race motor. If you plan on building your motor up i would take the si, but if you just want to go for the extra power right away the b18 would be best. They both sound good, go with whatever has the best price, and use the extra cash to fix the car up.

Starting from scratch, mod for mod, the B18C is ALWAYS going to out perform the B16A. The Si is heavy, so that's one stike against. The other things mentioned are useless to onsider because you can easily add them later on if you care enough.

Why do that when you can buy a 94-97 Integra GSR and spend less money. 94-97 GS-R has about equal weight, brakes, style, parts avalibility, and a little more torque and power, all for less money. Or just build ya a LS v-tec.

Lol, damn did you read right over that. Not to sound any more disrespectable then you think I was before, that's an agreement. Since there is no smilie that says "I second that great notion," I choose that one. Jeez, lighten up.

I agree, a '97 GSR would be considerably cheaper ($8000, give or take), and it weighs about the same as a '99 Si. The GSR weighs 2,667 pounds, whereas the Si weighs 2,601 (edmunds.com). With the extra two or three grand you'd spend on an Si, you could add bolt-ons, suspension, wheels, or whatever you wanted to the GSR.
