I am getting ready to put a intake on my 97 max. How much power can I expect to increase if any at all??

a cold air intake on a 4th gen is a no-no. you're gonna lose power in the top end cuz of all that piping.

Don't forget to use the 5" exhaust tip and then you can expect at least a 50hp gain

The problem with aftermarket intakes is that you lose bottom end torque to gain 1-2hp in the midrange. Not really worth the 200plus dollars you spend for the bragging rights to say I have an Injen Intake or whatever kind you may have. I'm not knocking anyone here with one but the GAB has been dynoproven to show gains higher than any other aftermarket intake. One other thing to add is that with the Technosquare ECU <they recommend leaving your airbox stock because of the powerloss with aftermarket intakes. That alone should tell you something.
