Control arms
If the lower control arms ( right and left ) on a 1998 528i are changed, should I require an alignment ??
The used part guy said he could change the lower control arms in about 1 hour , the non-dealer BMW mechanic shop quoted 2 hours, and the BMW dealer quoted 3 hours. LOL...Unbelieveable !
The used part guy said the arms ( if he had them in stock ) would be $60 uninstalled, the non-dealer guy quoted $460 installed but said I would need an alignment on top of that, and the dealer quoted $640 installed but never mentioned anything about an alignment. HAHA
