Question 93 grand am...jasper engine...HELP!!!!

I have a 93 grand am that has a jasper engine in it. I dont know if that makes a dif or not. (I'm a chick and I just dont know) For a little while my car was jerking a little bit. It did at all ranges of speed. Then...it went from that to no power. The rpms go up and I have to shift into from low gears into drive or it will not make it up a very small grade. I have recently had a new ignition coil installed, new plugs and wires, new O2 sensor, new cat converter. Now, my car will keep an idle, it just wont do much more. Please!!! help me, this is my only car and i need to fix it asap but for as little as possible. you know how it is, right? thanks for helping.....

Re: 93 grand am...jasper engine...HELP!!!!

the cheapest thing i can think of is just to use the shifter like a manual one till you can afford a drivetrain service.
