smoke at start up

I thought I remembered a few people saying that it's typical to see rotaries smoke just a little bit at start up. Isn't that true for rotaries and most piston engines, but rotaries more so?

Re: smoke at start up

not sure about piston engines but rotarys will usually smoke for about 30 seconds at startup and I believe it is like a blue color and then white or vise versa
