T-Body/EGR?

I know I posted something similar to this before, but now I'm ready to order my stuff for the finishing touch on my car. I've been looking into either a BBK or Accufab 80mm TB, but they are race only(no EGR). However, emissions is not a problem, I dont have to take em. Can I disconnect everything for the EGR and not run the EGR spacer w/o it affecting 'driveability'? Any input would be great. Thanks

Re: T-Body/EGR?

80mm TB, that's huge!!!!!! I think you'll be losing way too much torque with that.

Anyway, if you set on doing that your going to be getting all kinds of emissions code with the EGR system not functioning. I think you have a Tweecer though, am I right? I'm sure you could change the perimeters of the ECU with that.

Yeah I know I'll probably loose some torque with the T-Body. However, I'd rather buy one T-Body now rather than upgrading later when I get my turbo and then have to buy two, ya know. Do you think if I just got a 75mm, that would be ok for a high boost turbo/ intercooler setup? Also, would there be any side-effects having to plug the coolant lines on the EGR spacer if i went with the 80mm w/ no spacer?
