V-tec problems
I have an 88 civic hatch with a jdm b16 in it, i haven't driven the car for awhile, and now it seems like my v-tec isn't kicking in, and it's redlining at about 7500 grand. Anybody have any idea of what might be happening with with my motor?

your ecu is probably running in safe mode. Check to see if its sending a code.

Re: V-tec problems
First check your oil. If it's low/very dirty, the pressure won't build enough for vtec to engage.
