Talking B-Day Stealth, took delivery, 2/29/04 !!

Well, this is the 1994 Dodge Stealth R/T TT V6 3.0L 5spd I built for my freind Brandon, although the Integra R didn't make the deadline as I promised, he was more than satisfied with the Stealth. Seeing as The Stealth is his favorite plane, and he has one in black, and one in this blue, I did this go next to it.

As you can tell, it's moded. Originally an AWD drag car for me, it turned 'tuner' for him.

MODS:

Supension&Wheels: I clipped the springs, and bent the frame pieces to drop it to the R/T ride height, not paying attention, I also added extreme negative front camber, and mild rear camber. The wheels are Revell BMW Z8 front 18x6 white rims with pirelli stickies, and rear 19x8 white rims with pirelli stickies.

Under The Hood: I didn't mod much under here, basically just open turbos, some larger intake pipes, 1999 tamiya vspec II Nur edition R34 GTR intercooler, dodge orange motor and flat black cam covers to look like an old hemi, a sticker on the computer (added after pics) to represent a re-programmed piece, and a direct port 200shot wet nitrous injection ( I just didn't plumb it, because, he's not a stickler for detail like some of you are).

Outside: Krylon gloss blue, rustoleum 3coats lacquer gloss, graphite metallic hood, trunk and wing (pushed the wing further back on the trunk), Revell red tribal and silver tuner stickers from the ITR, and, hmm, I think that's it.

Inside: Flat black interior, blue bits, rear strut bar, 9pt roll-cage, Sparco Torino racing seat, wrc steering wheel, scratchbuilt 5'' race tach with shift lite, Hurst T-handle shifter, relocated battery to rear with red and white wires to simulate realism.

Underbody: Krylon gloss blue, no lacquer clear, gold driveshaft, black rear end and suspension, front also black, aluminum front behind bumper, 3'' spec striaght through race exhaust (resonator is on the pipe, but I drilled a hole through it, and slipped the pipe through the hole and just put it there so it wasn't so plain) and a chrome metal exhaust tip with tamiya clear blue on it for the tuner look.

Overall, Brandon was happy with it, and this is the reason I'm on brake from modeling. You try doing all this in 3 days without screwing something up, well, you pros can, but I can't. And yes, that is a BMW Z8 license plate on the roof, I put it there by special request from him, he said it reminded him of a wrc number on the white sticker.

Thanks, and most of all, have fun modeling.

The stock TT stealth is a very fast car. Well, to me anyways, considering how slow my car is. If I owned a v8 again, I wouldn't be saying that. Glad everyone likes it, and the ITR will be back soon.
