i wanna know how a stock 200 civic si would stand up to a 2001 golf with cold air intake and catback exhaust.

is the golf a 1.8T? if not i'd say the civic would win and look a hell of a lot better while winning. the golf looks like a damn roller skate.

the 2.0 would parbly be the only one you could walk. a modded TDI can be pretty formidable, just like the 1.8t. The VR6 is quick too. ive owned both the 99 Si and the GTI 1.8T. the civic might have a slight edge over the 1.8t out of the box, but a chip or a few light mods in the 1.8t do wonders

a cat back exhaust is all the piping plus the muffler from the catalytic converter and back. go launch a goat. oh yea, and its the 2.0 (8 valve hah).
