'00 civic si vs. golf

i wanna know how a stock 200 civic si would stand up to a 2001 golf with cold air intake and catback exhaust.

Re: '00 civic si vs. golf

It's easy to just look it up. I know which one would win, but just use a search engine like http://www.google.com

Re: '00 civic si vs. golf

is the golf a 1.8T? if not i'd say the civic would win and look a hell of a lot better while winning. the golf looks like a damn roller skate.

Re: '00 civic si vs. golf

the 2.0 would parbly be the only one you could walk. a modded TDI can be pretty formidable, just like the 1.8t. The VR6 is quick too. ive owned both the 99 Si and the GTI 1.8T. the civic might have a slight edge over the 1.8t out of the box, but a chip or a few light mods in the 1.8t do wonders

Geezus. "I wanna know how a dump truck would do against a 83' RX-7, with twin turbo charging, blah blah..."

For the millionth time, IT'S NOT THAT FUCKING SIMPLE. You don't slap parts on cars then compare them. Do you even know what a catback exhaust is, or did you read some import magazine and decided to spew words cuz you thought they sounded cool? Little bit more complex than that, kid.

Just to clarify: goat_launcher has been suspended for a week. You were warned, and ignored the warning. This is the consequence.

Re: '00 civic si vs. golf

a cat back exhaust is all the piping plus the muffler from the catalytic converter and back. go launch a goat. oh yea, and its the 2.0 (8 valve hah).

You don't have to believe me go check out consumers report of JD powers on their opinions. I amazing me that anyone would try to argue that vw cars aren't sub standard when it comes to build quality
