the TORNADO!!

You've seen the "tornado" fuel saver on tv. Says it will increase fuel mileage and add horse power. Has anyone bought one or heard of how good it works?? It it worth the $$$? Is this a secret that few people persue?

Re: the TORNADO!!

eh, dunno man, perhaps on a carbed engine i could buy it, but on the fuel injected systems, i just dont see how it could work properly as it was designed.

Re: Re: the TORNADO!!

Yeah, but even then I wouldn't use it! Theoretically, on a carb engine it has the possibility to work by mixing the air and fuel, but I don't see it being a big advantage. On an EFI engine, you do not want any restrictions, and the tornado will create turbulent airflow, which is bad on an EFI motor.

Re: the TORNADO!!

i'm not gonna stop anyone from buying one but just so you know it doesn't work. might as well get a set of those fuel line magnets too with both you'd get 60% better milage and 40% more power. oh yeah what is known as the tornado has been around since the 70's just had a different name before.

I have read indipendent reserch on the tornado and they said that it did not increase hp at all in their test car. That it not to say that it would not increase power in any car.
