curb weight

ok, got a debate going at work, and im wondering if anyone on here has some hard numbers for me. Some guy said that the first generation camaros are better performance platforms then third gens (they like to rip on third gens cuz i drive em, fuckers) because supposedly the first gen camaros are lighter than the third gens. i know my car is aruond 3400lbs, anyone know the actual curb weight of a first gen camaro???

Re: curb weight

Curb weight on the SS 350 was about 3300lbs..

The Z28 was about 3500lbs... They were very close to the same weight

Re: curb weight

I think helium tires is awesome, it would not be lighter, it would provide a slight life, making it even lighter.
