Talking Cutless vs. civic (very good race)

hey,
Now a lot of u are going to think this is pretty funny cause I did. I have a 1997 honda civic that I am putting a turbo in and already have some stuff on it. So that is in my garage during the winter becuase its being worked on. So I am driving my winter car. I 1993 olds cierra cutless s. whitewalls and all. NIICCEE lol j/k anyway I was driving in it with my g.f one night and noticed a kid with a 1995 civic who i always see racing people. flames painted on it, wing body kit,,, anyway I pull up to the stoplight and rev it up lol he just laughed and so did it but i was going to race him anyway. light went green and we both took off,,, right off the start I pulled ahead of him about a half a car length and kept pulling ahead. I looked over as i saw his jaw drop in embaressment. well i layed on the breaks at about 65mph because we were in a 25 and not noticing the cop sitting there watching the whole thing. he flew by use and pitched it sideways in the middle of the road to stop us. he asked him if he was racing tonight and said he was going to go talk to me. as the cop came over I saw him laugh and anyway to make the story short I only got a $70 ticket for speeding and he got a $200 ticket for racing. nothing against hondas though cause i cant wait to be drivin mine agian.

Re: Cutless vs. civic

wow, u have the exact same car im supposed to race this weekend. I got a 88 Civic hatch with a D16A6 Si swap and a 5 speed tranny swapped in also. I weigh in at probaly only 2000 lbs because it was the lightest model hatch made. Only thing lighter was the CRX.

Anyways, my friend has a 93 Cutlass with the V6 its an auto and hes pretty confident he can take me.

Im not sure whos gonna win but ill post the results hopefully.

I suppose you have never heard of a cutlass 442 .

AND I also suppose you think a Buick is a grandma boat car......

Whats the fastest you have ran?

Lesson to this post, don't be fooled by the car. I used to consider all hondas slow....... Well last summer I had a few of them do better agenst me than a couple of mustangs and camaros.
