Do women know how to drive? Car accident already w/ the EVO

Alright enough is enough. This is the f@#king 4th girl to crash into me. I'm not that good looking, so I know it's not like they want my number. I was driving on the 101 freeway, driving back from work (I work graveyard out in Woodland Hills). Whilst coming close to the 405 freeway, I see traffic stop up ahead (No doubt due to the idiotic boneheads that wait for the last second to merge onto the 405 going south, a bottle neck if you would). I stop, and some lady not paying attention in a Honda Civic swerves too late to make it to the left lane. Fortunately she was hitting the brakes. She smacked into me at about 5 mph i'd guess. I immediately became infuriated (I've only owned this car since Saturday). I check out the damage, and she scraped the side of the rear bumper (Left hand side). Her civic is actually quite messed up. Looks like she broke the headlight on the right hand side, on top of mashing her bumper. I ask for insurance, driver's license, etc..... She seems zoned out, and kinda pissed off (Why she'd be mad at me is beyond me, but if I wasn't a gentlemen I would have stuffed her in the trunk of her car and left her there until the CHP came across to get her out). I checked by my friendly body shop (This guy knows my family and I real well, cause we are all cursed auto accident wise). Anyways, cause he has done several of my vehicles, and some of my families cars, he gave me an extremely reduced price. He said there is no frame damage, and he doubts that the alignment is affected. It's gonna cost $200 to fix the car (If it was the normal price i'm positive it would be over $400). Here is a list of my misfortunate accidents w/ women:
87 MR2- smashed into at Glendale community College's parking lot.
00 Acura Integra GS-R- owned for a month and a half, before being nailed on Wilber Avenue, while parked, sending it sailing through my supervisors car, totalling both vehicles (BTW I had just gotten the rear left quarter panel repainted after the car was egged a week or two before the accident)
00 Z28- I'm sitting at the Shell station pumping gas in my car (Not paying attention at the time). Some extremely hot chick smacks right into the car's front bumper w/ her 80'ish Ford F150
I don't think I can avoid the women w/ cell hones and pocket mirrors, not paying attention whilst putting on makeup, or talking on the phone. I'm just happy it wasn't an SUV.

Re: Do women know how to drive? Car accident already w/ the EVO

Women as a general whole are extremely shitty drivers. They think they're so fucking invincible in whatever they drive because they always overestimate the car. I've never ridden with any woman that didn't scare the living shit out of me when I was driving. GO EASY ON THE BRAKES GIRLS!

Note: I know there are some women who can drive, and just meant this as a generalization... my girlfriend can drive decently - only she fails to realize that in Kentucky you have two choices - closer to the middle or closer to the edge. In the middle theres cars, on the outside theres ditches. Cars move, ditches dont. I get nervous riding with her...

Re: Do women know how to drive? Car accident already w/ the EVO

I dont let my wife drive me around..she acts like she is zoned out and then when someone pulls something funny in front of us she freaks out about it..Scary thing is I was driving around town to an appointment and she passed me on I-275..i was going in excess of 90 when she just blew me away...she had to be going 130. When i asked her about it later that day she said "oh i was racing a guy in a honda that was looking funny at me" and "i was only going 127, not 130"...well excuse me...This is extremly scary for me as she is the one who rear ended me at a stop sign. she thought i had taken off so she hit the gas.
So yes, some women driving scares the shit outta me...

Re: Do women know how to drive? Car accident already w/ the EVO

foreign women are the worst. I've been in two accidents, both with women who just moved to the US from Russia. My car was totalled in both accidents, and I was at the chiropractor 3 times a week for a year because of one of them. Not saying all women, but a majority of women cannot drive. To this day, I can't figure out why women pay less then men on insurance too....sigh

My girlfriend drives a Trans Am and could be getting an STi soon.

What keeps me from making her get something safe? I get to drive them.

Now that scares me. Whereabouts do you live, and at what time does she drive J/K I'm not trying to generalize guys. I'll being totally honest. I dunno why they keep hitting my cars. I really felt sorry for the integra GS-R when it was totalled. Sucker was hit so hard the spectators said they saw the car literally catch air. I'm lucky the EVO wasn't hit hard. I have to admit that I grow somewhat attached to my cars.

Re: Do women know how to drive? Car accident already w/ the EVO

My wife is overly cautious whne driving. It drives me nuts I cannot be a passanger in the car w/ her. She is the sort to wait for there to be no cars on the road before pulling out. I like the fact that she is so defensive.

Scariest thing I have seen to date. A soccer mom in a H-2 on her celphone tooling down the road not paying attention to anyone. - Nothing like a 6000 lb missle carrening down the road.

Re: Do women know how to drive? Car accident already w/ the EVO

I know one good female driver. One.

She drives a 1988 BMW 535i with a balanced motor/cam/lightweight flywheel/5spd/AVS/Bilstein etc...

I'd venture to say you guys are posting with your wives looking over your shoulders. Don't hold back, girls are monsters on the road. Generalize the hell out of them untill we get equal insurance rights. VIVA LA RESISTANCE!

Re: Do women know how to drive? Car accident already w/ the EVO

Wife not looking over shoulder here. She actually is a very defensive driver.

I have been begging her to take an evolution autocross driving school with me. I think she will be good at it.

I do see a LOT of women driving around doing makup fighting with screaming kids in back seats etc.. But I see a lot of guys driving around w/ cel phones plastered to their ears too.
