SE-R vs. BMW Z3 2.3L

Hey I have this friend who drives a BMW Z3 that has a 2.3 Liter engine, and he wants to drag race my SE-R. His car is stock and the only mods I've got is a Greddy EVO Exhaust and an AEM CAI. Which would win and by how much?

Re: SE-R vs. BMW Z3 2.3L

It'll be close. Both are low 15-second capable cars, with a slight edge going for the Z3. I'd say it will be all up to the launch.

ha ha ha ha ha funny funny funny, not a chance. that z3 will never even see the bumper. i raced one when i first got my car, stock, and i had tow friends with me. it was an older guy with his snotty wife and i pulled up next to him at a light. i took off like i always do, about half throtal and then we got to the next light. we both stopped and he looked at me like he was the best thing since sliced bread. so we took off and he was at least two car lengths behind me by the time i shut down at 45-50. then he blew by me so i stuck on his butt and then passed him later.
i dont think they are that fast.
but that is my storey

Haha that's good to know, gives me more confidence. This'll happen in like a month or two, hopefully by that time I'll get the hotshot header in to increase my chances even more. But yeah my friend's kind of snotty about that car and think German cars can beat Japanese cars no matter what. I wanna show him up :-P
